Unblending is a short film I created in 3 months as part of The National Film Board of Canada's Hothouse Program for emerging animation filmmakers. The frames are hand-painted with acrylics on traditional animation cels. I used Dragonframe to capture the cels, and put together the edit in After Effects and Resolve. The story is inspired by my experience with insomnia, structural dissociation, and IFS Parts Therapy. ​​​​​​​
